Bob grew up in Anaheim, CA and started his career in 1972 with franchisor Sir Speedy, Inc. as manager of 10 company-owned centers in Chicago, IL. Bob developed one of the first store-level marketing tools in the industry: utilizing outside sales reps to sell printing. This innovative approach is now the standard for growth-oriented printing franchises.


Bob relocated to Florida in the mid-70s to become Vice President of Gamma Graphics, Sir Speedy’s Florida franchisor, and national franchisor of BCT (BCT) with Bill Wilkerson, COB/CEO as his mentor. He oversaw all aspects of selling new printing centers – site procurement, start-up, ongoing support, development – managed five large Sir Speedy owners advertising groups for Gamma Graphics, and organized and facilitated the annual conference. Bob later oversaw franchise sales for BCT’s eastern region as Vice President and General Manager of the region.


In 1983, Bob followed his own entrepreneurial callings, opening two Sir Speedy locations in Tampa. One of them set a record for fastest growing start-up, helping him win Rookie of the Year honors. His centers were continually ranked among the top 25 Sir Speedy locations worldwide in sales volume.


Bob sold his centers and moved to Atlanta in 1991, joining Franklin’s Systems, Inc. as Vice President of Sales and Support. He managed all aspects of franchise sales, site development, new center startup, training, marketing, and owner support.


In 1996, ICED acquired Franklin’s, and Bob joined ICED as Vice President of Franchise Sales responsible for all aspects of domestic sales of eight different franchise companies, including American Wholesale Thermographers, Kwik Kopy Printing and Parcel Plus, among others.


In March 2003, after 13 years with the ICED group, Bob moved back to Florida with Kathy, his wife of 30 years, to rejoin BCT. Bob is now responsible for all aspects of franchise sales for new franchises, as well as help existing owners when they are ready to exit. Bob has particular experience with market analysis, site research, negotiating and working through the real estate process, and securing long-term conventional financing for new franchisees as well as existing franchisees who want to sell. Bob can be reached as early as 5:00 A.M. ET at the BCT, Inc. Corporate Headquarters Office. Bob and Kathy have two grown children. He enjoys gardening as well as the sun and water activities of Florida and the Caribbean. Bob is a licensed Real Estate professional.
